Life gives us a lot of challenges. When we fail to face them calmly, it can lead to harmful outcomes. Join us on an incredible adventure of Aries and Issac to explore how they face the monster with wisdom rather than violence.

Aries and Issac lived in a kingdom filled with wild animals and monsters. In that land, life was not always safe. Fierce creatures roamed the nearby forests. And wild animals often came too close to their villages. But, the people were resilient and worked together to protect their homes. Sadly, Aries and Issac’s mothers died in an attack. Their father, a brave warrior, also lost his life while fighting a fearsome monster. The two brothers became orphans. But luckily, they grew up in the warm arms of the villagers.

Aries was the older brother. He was a big, strong man with muscles as powerful as his father. He stood tall, like a tall oak tree, and his hands were as big as dinner plates. What made Aries special was his incredible strength. He could lift heavy boulders as if they were feathers and carry them around effortlessly. When he swung his mighty sword, it could cut through almost anything, like a hot knife through butter. Aries’s legs were like tree trunks, and he could run faster than a racing horse.

Aries’s strength became legendary in his village as he helped the villagers fend off fearful wild animals. But his strength made him a bit arrogant. He believed he could handle any danger alone and did not listen to anyone’s advice.

On the other hand, Issac was a clever and caring boy like his mother. His eyes were warm and kind. He was the opposite of his big brother, Aries. He was shorter and not as muscular as his brother. His slim build made him look almost like a gentle breeze. That made his brother, Aries, always stick an eye on him. Aries thought Issac was weak and that he constantly needed to be protected.

They now lived in a small tent. Aries’s daily job was to help the farmers protect their sheep from hungry wolves while Issac collected vegetables on a farm. Sometimes, they took a few trips around the kingdom to defend the monsters in some lands.

Issac cared deeply for his big brother. He took care of Aries’s meals. He also made sure Aries had a comfortable place to sleep, with cozy blankets and pillows. When Aries alone went off to face dangerous animals, Issac constantly worried about him. He would stay up late, waiting for Aries to come back.

One day, on his way home, Aries encountered a frightened man being chased by a beast. The beast was small but scary. It had a hunchbacked posture, and its fur was mottled. It had patches of green and jagged spikes on its spine. And his mouth was open with sharp teeth.

Aries ran forward to the man without hesitation, trying to rescue him. He picked up a big log from the street and threw it at the beast. The beast was startled. It turned around, growled, and ran at Aries. When the beast almost hit Aries, he knocked it out with a strong punch in the blink of an eye. The beast fell and lay unconscious on the ground. The man was grateful and admired for Aries’s bravery, so he rewarded Aries with a shiny bag of gold coins. But Aries denied it.

The man was the King’s courtier. He was on his way to find a hero to help his King solve a problem. He encountered the beast when he approached Aries’s village. The beast ate his horse and then chased him.

He told Aries, “My friend, your strength and courage are truly remarkable. Perhaps you could use your incredible powers to help our kingdom.”

Aries never heard of this news. He asked the man for clarification. “I’m sorry, man. Can you explain more?”

The man asked Aries to visit the King’s castle for an explanation. Aries was fascinated by the idea, as he had never been to the King’s castle. When Aries returned home, he shared his day’s story with Issac, including the King’s courier’s invitation. Upon hearing the story, Issac worried that Aries might encounter danger. He asked Aries to follow him to the grand palace to meet the King.

The palace where the King lived was big and tall with thick stone walls. It had pointy towers that reached to the sky. Outside, there were a lot of beautiful flower bushes. The grass was decorated in many interesting shapes. Inside, there were grand rooms with fancy decorations. Numerous golden ornaments hanging on the wall attracted Aries’s attention.

They met the king in the main hall, where everything was sparking. The King was sitting on a fancy chair. When Aries and Issac met him, they bowed and gave their blessings. The King was friendly, greeting back with a smile. He was a wise and kind man. He had a white beard that flowed like a waterfall. He was wearing a robe that was as shiny as the sun. His crown sparkled with jewels that Aries and Issac had never seen before.

The King explained the problem to the two brothers. A stone guardian ruled over a vital water source in a nearby forest. This terrifying guardian lived by the river and blocked anyone from reaching the water. The people were in desperate need of water for their lives and farming. The villagers suffered, and their crops wilted without the river’s life-giving waters.

The King believed only someone brave and strong as Aries could face the stone guardian. The King promised Aries a vast piece of land as a reward if he could defeat the guardian and restore the river to its rightful owners.

After Aries listened to the King’s explanation, he was so excited. He had always wanted to be a hero to help as many people as his father did. But his little brother Issac was worried about that.

“Brother,” Issac whispered, “I’ve heard rumors about this guardian. It’s said to be incredibly powerful and has injured many brave heroes who tried to face it. We should…”

Aries paused Issac’s words. He looked at his younger brother with gratitude for his caring nature. “You’re right, Issac,” Aries continued. “But don’t worry. Your brother can defeat any monsters.” Then Aries accepted the King’s noble request. He was determined to help the suffering villagers.

On the way home, Issac’s mind was flooded with questions. He wondered how he could support his brother if the worst situation occurred.

The next day, Aries started on his journey to fight the guardian. Due to his concern for Issac, he requested that Issac stay home. Issac agreed with his brother’s idea, but he secretly followed Aries.

Issac walked behind Aries to the river where the stone guardian was. On the way, he observed around and thought about the plan to support his brother. They walked through the thick forest and stepped on weird vines. They followed the gentle sound of flowing water, which led them to the river. The scenery was spectacular, with adorable flowers and vibrant butterflies. Aries admired it while Issac was so worried.

Aries could see the guardian’s presence as he approached the river’s edge. He was resting on a large rock. When he saw Aries intruding on his place, his eyes glowed fiery.

 

 

Issac hid behind a tree, his worry etched across his face. He knew the rumors were true—this creature was a “big” problem.

When Aries saw the guardian, he knew that this battle would be unlike any he had faced before. He could not imagine how giant the guardian was. It was like three times bigger than Aries. He was made of hard rocks. Aries couldn’t find any weakness in the guardian’s body.

Issac observed from a distance. He knew that fighting directly with the guardian would be difficult. He pondered the need for suitable weapons to confront the guardian effectively. It must be something in the forest.

Aries was under pressure, but he tried to keep calm. He shouted at the guardian: “Leave the river. This place is not yours!”

The guardian let out a scary roar, shaking the very ground beneath them. Rocks and debris scattered in all directions as it charged toward Aries. He was about to say something, but Aries dashed toward him. He hit the guardian’s left leg and then hit its right leg. He repeated this quickly with mighty strength.

The guardian was relentless. It swung its massive fists and sent him tumbling. Aries’s left leg took a direct hit, and he cried out in pain as he fell to one of the rocks near the river far from the guardian.

Issac saw everything from behind. He rushed to his brother’s side and comforted him. When Aries saw Issac, he tried to persuade him to go away to protect him from the guardian. Aries’s left leg was badly injured, and he could barely put any weight on it. Issac’s worry deepened as he saw the pain in his brother’s eyes. He knew they couldn’t continue like this.

Suddenly, Issac remembered about the vines on his way to the river. Issac came up with a plan. With quick thinking, he whispered to Aries, “Brother, we need to outsmart this monster! Trust me! I can do it!” Aries looked at Issac’s eyes for a while and agreed to follow his brother. He had no choice.

Issac quickly carried Aries to a safer distance from the guardian while keeping its attention focused on him. He shouted at it to make the guardian angry. The giant stone guardian roared in fury. He left Aries alone and pursued Issac.

The guardian and Issac ran far away from Aries. Issac tricked him into chasing him to an area with many vines. The guardian’s heavy body made it difficult for him to run on the vines. By accident, his leg got trapped by one of the vines. He tripped on the ground, making a big sound.

Issac quickly approached the guardian. He used many vines to tie the guardian’s legs together. Now, the guardian could hardly move. He struggled to get free from the vines but ended up exhausted.

Then, Issac spoke calmly and soothingly to the guardian. “Dear guardian of the river, we are so sorry for being rude. We understand you have been here for a long time. But many people need water from this river for their survival. We don’t want to harm you, but we must find a way for everyone to live.”

The guardian listened to Issac’s words. He did not want to hurt any humans, but he needed to stop them from ruining the river.

“I can’t trust humans. They have destroyed many areas around them. I will never let them do the same thing to this river,” answered the guardian.

Issac continued, “If you agree to leave this place and allow the people to use the river, we promise the king will find a solution.”

“How could I trust you, young man?” The guardian asked Issac.

“Don’t worry! The King I know is the kindest person. We will tell him the truth as you follow us to his palace. I believe that he will accept any reasonable offer,” Issac confirmed.

After a moment of thinking, the guardian agreed. Issac then released him from the vines.

The guardian carried the injured Aries on his shoulder, and they headed back to the palace.

When the King first saw the guardian, he was almost taken aback. But Issac calmed him down and told him the story. The kind-hearted King listened carefully as Issac narrated the events of their encounter with the guardian and their promise to find a solution.

“My dear friends,” the King began, “it’s clear that we must find a way to share this precious river for the well-being of both our people and the guardian.”

He called upon his advisors and experts to brainstorm ideas. Together, they developed a plan to create a reservoir downstream to ensure enough water for the villagers while allowing the river to flow freely for the guardian’s home.

The King fulfilled his promise and rewarded Aries, Issac, and the guardian with a piece of land they could call their own. The guardian was relieved that his home was safe. He agreed to the new arrangement. Aries felt a bit embarrassed for being rude to the guardian. He apologized to the guardian and thanked him for carrying him on the road. The two brothers made friends with the guardian. Aries and the guardian were later assigned to be the Mighty Warriors of the kingdom, while Issac served as the negotiator by the king’s side.

This story teaches the importance of staying calm in challenging situations. While Aries is strong, he can only rely on strength alone. Sometimes, negotiation proves to be the better approach. Issac’s kindness and peaceful approach to the guardian shows the value of finding non-violent solutions. In the end, it turns an enemy into a friend.
